Twenty years ago the infamous Berlin Wall came down and the German Embassy in London, UK arranged for a symbolic ice wall to mark the occasion.
The wall was built by Eskimo Ice in the centre of the road around Belgrave Square.
Carvers, Percy Salazar and Clemente Gava used 140 blocks to construct a wall 11 ft high in six hours. Work started at 1 am and by the time city people went to work they were able to witness this symbol of the Cold War.
